COMMITMENT

quote adapted from @ladivamillen's IG page

I couldn't  have put it better myself.
Sometimes, we may find that we are just not moving forward in the things that matter in our lives - things aren't improving and might even be going bad. It may be a career, a relationship, family, or even simple things like daily exercise. Whatever it is, in situations like this, it helps to take a step
back and reassess the goals and priorities on which these parts of our lives are founded. And an important thing to assess is one's level of commitment.

Whether it is office work, a personal project, or even a failing relationship, the level of commitment you put into it will determine what you will get out of it. So why do we sometimes have little commitment to the things that matter in our lives? It could be that the work or relationship requires more of us than we can easily give. It's much easier to be committed to staying on the internet all day long, for example, than it is to listen in class or study. It could also be that we are so overwhelmed that we don't have the time and energy to make it work. That is where time management comes in.

But, no matter the problems, putting in the right amount of time and effort, consistently, will help us achieve our goals and ultimately keep us from worrying that things are not getting better. Note the key words - time, effort, right amount, consistently. Arranging our priorities will also help so no aspect of our life suffers greatly for the other.

Great achievements are not made on a bed of roses, but our biggest dreams and aspirations can be achieved if we just put our backs, and our minds, into it. Our careers, relationships, or staying on a diet will definitely require more effort and be less interesting than staying on the internet all day long but if you want it to work, you have to give it the right amount of time and effort, consistently.

Many times, it's because we are not committed enough that we don't achieve our dreams, not because we do not have the right abilities. If we were committed enough, we would search far and wide to find answers to our questions, solutions to our problems and eventually gain all the abilities we need to achieve our goals. But you have to try, more so, you have to try hard.

Whatever our goals and dreams may be, staying committed definitely helps to get us there. All we have to do is out our back into it.
